"……This Buffalo Bred band would do well enough without a horn, but add the Silver Fox on sax and Off the Cuff comes off the hook!" (BuffaloRising.com)
Original rock inspired by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Guster, O.A.R., Dispatch and Dave Matthews Band, just to name a few, is the best way to describe the sound of Off the Cuff. The Buffalo, NY based band offers a breath of fresh air in a world of over-production. Impressive harmonies, polished rhythms and soulful lyrics round out this group. Off the Cuff started as a trio (Steve Amuso, Pete Cimino, & Max Henshaw) in late 2002 playing small bars, coffee shops, and a number of fund raising events. Once they added a bassist (Mike Morrissey) and woodwind player (Rocco Amuso – aka The Siler Fox, who also happens to be Steve’s father) to the group, they branched out into bigger bars, clubs, and colleges. Thus finding their true love in the process; playing live and seeing the appreciation of our fans as they sing and dance to our tunes. This is where each member can truly pour their hearts into the songs. Steve, Pete, Max, Silver Fox, and Mike pride themselves on their performances, and have been building a large and loyal following in Western New York since the beginning.
With two full length albums complete (“48” and “500 Hats”) and a third in the works, Off the Cuff doesn’t plan to stop their musical adventure anytime soon!
