ESI Artists - Mick Hayes
Mick Hayes - ESI Artists

Mick Hayes is the quintessential young front man the music industry was built on. With his sharp dressed attitude and his “born lucky” charm, Mick is sculpting the sound of Contemporary Blues and R&B today with powerful vocals and extraordinary guitar playing. Mick holds the homegrown skills that pass through all of the Blues sub-categories in one show.

Mick has preformed in front of huge crowds numbering in the upper 20,000’s and opened for bands such as The Doobie Brothers, Peter Fampton, Dickie Betts, Los Lonely Boys, Dave Mason, Robin Trower and many more. Mick has shared the stage along side with Gary Mallaber, Michael Burkes, Tony Galla, Smokin Joe Kubek, Joe Bonamassa, Will McFarlane and several more.

Recently, Mick Hayes had the honor of being inducted into the “Buffalo Music Hall Of Achievement” as a solo artist, and also for the work he has done with his band. He added these awards along side many others that are now all part of an extensive list of accomplishments he has obtained over a short period of time.

In 2009, development began on the ‘Mick Hayes Model’ Songhurst Guitars (Spokane WA). The national guitar manufacturer, Danny Songhurst, endorsed Mick after he first heard Mick’s music. Mick’s music inspired Danny to create a guitar in Mick’s honor. Mick has played the ‘self titled’ guitar all over the country, captivating listeners ears with his powerful, driving tone and compelling guitar playing. Not only is Mick’s sound in a class by itself, but he also caught the eye of Amalfitano Pickups (Keller, TX) who were hypnotized by his technique.

Currently Mick is in Buffalo, NY working on a solo album and also a “Mick Hayes Band Live” album, both of which are slated to release in Summer 2011. In the middle of Mick’s active career he has found time to return to acting once again by staring in a National television series as the lead role on a children’s faith-based weekly show. Along side of being a nationally published writer, while home in Buffalo Mick’s unmatched voice can be heard on a number of Radio and Television commercials.

Mick Hayes is the top class, hard working, entertaining front man that continues to influence the music scene all over the Nation. His lively guitar playing and liquid vocals create a bigger fan base at the end of every song and strike of every note.
